Ground Data Terminal

Ground Data Link Antenna System is used for the data link applications between an airborne platform and ground station. It has Ku, C, S single band  or UHF & L/S dual band options. Via an ethernet connection it receives the ECEF coordinates of the airborne platform and positions its antenna to the correct direction. Positioning is not based only on discrete positions of the moving target, also on tracking vector motion, resulting in smoother and more accurate tracking.

The positioner can be mounted on a tripod or mast. The system has its own GPS to find its coordinates. In order to have easy installation it has automatic zero heading adjustment. During operation It can find the target by directly pointing to GPS coordinates received or by performing a blind scan. When the target is found it tracks it by using GPS coordinates or by using the RSSI of the signal. Even if the link is broken for a few seconds the system continues to track the target by predicting its location obtained from the previous coordinates.

Antenna control unit, RF units and modem are all included inside the radome. Only power and ethernet connections are required to operate the antenna.

The product is designed to operate in harsh environmental conditions and has been successfully tested according to relevant MIL-STD standards.

Airborne Data Terminal

Two Axis Airborne Data Link Antenna System is used for the data link applications between an airborne platform and ground station. It has Ku band reflector antenna together with two axis pedestal to point the antenna.

It can acquire the ground station signal by directly pointing to GPS coordinates or by performing a blind scan. When the link is maintained it tracks the signal by using GPS coordinates or by using the RSSI of the signal. If the aircraft GPS coordinates are lost due to a GPS jamming, the antenna can continue tracking based on signal RSSI.

The product is designed to operate in harsh environmental conditions and has been successfully tested according to relevant MIL-STD standards.

Ground / Airborne Modem Transceiver (GMT/AMT)

AMT/GMT is low SWaP, full-duplex data link system for EO, IR, and other sensor applications using manned or unmanned platforms for Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) applications. AMT features user selectable dual H.264&H.265 compression engines capable of encoding HD and SD videos up to 1080p resolution. In addition to on-board dual integrated video compression, system comes with an option to extend the video inputs by external video encoder module. In addition to advanced video compression technology, frame-synchronized metadata is also available.

AMT/GMT system accepts TCP/IP or UDP/IP over ethernet, multiple high-speed serial ports, a dedicated GPS/INS port, and audio. It also provides AES-256 encryption.

AMT/GMT system includes dual diversity RF receiver, demodulator and demultiplexer for downlink and multiplexer, modulator and RF transmitter for uplink.

Both AMT and GMT has dual antenna connections. One of them is for omni antenna and the other one is  two-axis airborne antenna for AMT and  ground data link antenna for GMT.

As a complete end-to-end solution, data link system requires no additional hardware for deployment.

The system is designed to operate in harsh environmental conditions and has been successfully tested according to relevant MIL-STD standards.
